Why Not?

How do you take care of yourself? One of my self-care practices includes regular acupuncture sessions that help with my ‘Qi‘ (pronounced ‘chi’) which means ‘energy flow’ – this seems to keep me well away from the doctor’s office! 🙌🏻🏻

Today, my TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) practitioner prescribed medried Chinese herbs (see the picture above) mainly to support my hormones and digestive system as the seasons change, because did you know your body has to work extra hard work during the changing of seasons? Truth! It also has to work super duper hard when you’re going through stressful periods or dealing with sickness 😰

If you’re feeling a little under the weather, low in energy or just a little ‘off’ at the moment, don’t reach for the painkillers… As my @kikki.k mug suggests: WHY NOT try something more holistic!? As my Chinese doctor says: “Treat the roots and the tree will be stronger and last much longer than if you simply treat the branches or the leaves” 💡
