Wakame Seaweed Salad

  • ¼ cup dried wakame, crunched (whilst dry) into small pieces
  • 4 tablespoons sesame seeds + extra to top
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon organic sesame oil
  • optional: ¼ cup crushed walnut pieces🌱
  1. Soak wakame in filtered water for 15-20 minutes. Once it expands (like the pic above) rinse and drain well - squeeze with hands to drain excess water
  2. Grind sesame seeds and salt in a coffee grinder to combine, then mix with lemon, sesame oil and walnuts
  3. Pour this mix over wakame and stir well to combine. Top with more, whole sesame seeds and eat, smile and enjoy!
