Chia Porridge Perfection!
Want a high protein-packed treat that tastes great and does good things for your body? DONE! I like to eat this chia porridge outside in my garden under the sun, or at the dinner table with no phones, computers or television allowed. Chia is a fantastic source of clean, plant-based protein that packs a whopping 10 grams per 1/4 cup – amazing! I have been creating lots of things with chia for a while now – take a look here and here to get started.
With every spoonful of today’s treat, I enjoy the goodness and take time to taste and enjoy every mouthful. Digestion begins in the mouth, so its so important we enjoy the flavours of every meal before swallowing. This magic, mindful eating practice aids better digestion, which = a happy bellies and bowels!

Chia Porridge Perfection
- ½ cup frozen blueberries
- ¼ cup chia seed
- 1 cup almond milk
- ¼ cup sunflower seeds
- ½ pear (or ½ a banana)
- ¼ avocado
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and cardamom
- Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender for a few minutes before pouring into a saucepan to warm (if it's cold out! If not, eat 'as is'). Transfer to a bowl and devour in a peaceful setting. 🙏🏻
