Today’s recipe is pretty simple… All you need is your body + the outdoors to receive a a HUGE hit of energy and what I like to call ‘Vitamin G’ (which stands for ‘grounding’, also known as ‘earthing) 🌿🍂🌾 What is grounding/earthing? Continue Reading…
I want to share a great soulfood recipe with you I like to use every day…
- Take one human being (YOU) outdoors for at least 15 minutes.
- Stand amongst trees🌲🌳nature🍂🍁to be near birds, bunnies and bees (or any kind of wildlife 🐝🐰🐶) is optimal!
- Breathe in deeply for 5 seconds…hold it for 5 seconds…breathe out for 5 seconds, repeat🌟

“Beneficial physical changes occur for those practising mindfulness, including a stronger immune system, lower blood pressure, and shifts in the way the brain deals with difficult situations and emotions.” 🙏🏻
Food for thought: there’s an upside and a downside to everything, so try to see both sides before deciding on what action to take. Whatever you decide, let it be with love and positivity in your heart. Forgive those who do you wrong – forgive them to cut them loose from your life which will provide you with peace. A body filled with anger and vengeful thoughts will become diseased and sick over time, so restore and repair using forgiveness and loving kindness.
Decide to enjoy everyday of your life – even if it’s a mere moment of happiness, relish in it and decide you want more of that feeling in your body and your life…it will come if you allow it in.
Namaste, Satnam, have a beautiful day because you can! 😘🙏🏻☀️
I cover a LOT about what to feed your body to thrive, but today I want to ask you what it is you do to feed your soul? Maybe this sounds weird to you, but just think about it for a second…feeding our minds is just as important as feeding out bodies because both must be in tip top condition to help you and I live our best life while we’re here on this crazy, amazing earth.
One of the many things I like to do to feed my mind and soul is to Continue Reading…
Here are some messages I feel compelled to share with YOU today… The card in the picture was one that I pulled this morning from Gabrielle Bernstein’s ‘Miracles Now’ deck reads: “THE KEY TO GETTING WHAT I WANT IS TO ASK FOR IT.”

How do you take care of yourself? One of my self-care practices includes regular acupuncture sessions that help with my ‘Qi‘ (pronounced ‘chi’) which means ‘energy flow’ – this seems to keep me well away from the doctor’s office! 🙌🏻🏻
It’s been a while since I filmed a yoga video – I’ve been a busy little chef! But I felt inspired to record this flow the other morning… I was on the rooftop and it was a beautiful day, so I ran downstairs to grab my camera and tripod and et voila! I hope you enjoy this 17 minute yoga flow that will help you stretch and and open your beauitful body.
Sometimes, when life gets a little cray cray, preventing me to to get out amongst nature, I feel an overwhelming urge to place my bare feet on real grass! This is me and my girl, Marisa – in Central Park, getting grounded. We sat, talked, laughed and soaked up the last of the summer sun… When was the last time you placed your bare feet on grass? Maybe a few minutes ago? Maybe a few months ago? Might sound a little hippy dippy, but I really do believe this earth has healing properties… And now there seems to be more and more awareness of this concept around the world – often referred to as ‘earthing’ or ‘grounding’.
I always feel more energised after coming into contact with nature. If you’ve never tried it, or thought about it before, give it a go – the least you’ll experience is soft grass beneath your feet. Turn off your phone, take a book or a friend and go get grounded – you and your body deserve some downtime.
When I first began practising yoga, it was merely to move my body but I very quickly discovered it also moved my mind. It shifted my thoughts into a realm of calm, quiet and non-judgemental contemplation. Hugely powerful stuff for me. Yoga continues to change my life – little by little, every time I take to the mat, I’m transformed to a place where nothing else matters except for the steadiness of my breath and the strength of my body.
Yoga pushes me. Continue Reading…
