I want to share a great soulfood recipe with you I like to use every day…

  1. Take one human being (YOU) outdoors for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Stand amongst trees🌲🌳nature🍂🍁to be near birds, bunnies and bees (or any kind of wildlife 🐝🐰🐶) is optimal!
  3. Breathe in deeply for 5 seconds…hold it for 5 seconds…breathe out for 5 seconds, repeat🌟

Food for thought: there’s an upside and a downside to everything, so try to see both sides before deciding on what action to take. Whatever you decide, let it be with love and positivity in your heart. Forgive those who do you wrong – forgive them to cut them loose from your life which will provide you with peace. A body filled with anger and vengeful thoughts will become diseased and sick over time, so restore and repair using forgiveness and loving kindness.


Decide to enjoy everyday of your life – even if it’s a mere moment of happiness, relish in it and decide you want more of that feeling in your body and your life…it will come if you allow it in.

Getting Grounded

Sometimes, when life gets a little cray cray, preventing me to to get out amongst nature, I feel an overwhelming urge to place my bare feet on real grass! This is me and my girl, Marisa – in Central Park, getting grounded. We sat, talked, laughed and soaked up the last of the summer sun… When was the last time you placed your bare feet on grass? Maybe a few minutes ago? Maybe a few months ago? Might sound a little hippy dippy, but I really do believe this earth has healing properties… And now there seems to be more and more awareness of this concept around the world – often referred to as ‘earthing’ or ‘grounding’.

I always feel more energised after coming into contact with nature. If you’ve never tried it, or thought about it before, give it a go – the least you’ll experience is soft grass beneath your feet. Turn off your phone, take a book or a friend and go get grounded – you and your body deserve some downtime.

How to Practice (Not Perform) Yoga

When I first began practising yoga, it was merely to move my body but I very quickly discovered it also moved my mind. It shifted my thoughts into a realm of calm, quiet and non-judgemental contemplation. Hugely powerful stuff for me.
